Photo, video and TV. Scoped, crewed and directed.
We are not the crew. We are the person who works out what you need, books the right people for it, and stands on set making sure the day produces something usable.
What it is
A shoot day is a logistics problem before it is a creative one.
Anyone can book a videographer. The reason shoot days go wrong is that nobody decided what the footage was for, nobody scheduled the staff, nobody cleared the site, and everyone turned up hoping. Our job is that everything is decided before the camera comes out of the bag.
We scope the day against what the content actually has to do, book the crew who suit that job rather than whoever is free, and direct on site so you are not the one standing there deciding whether that take was good enough.
For broadcast work we handle the media side too: the commercial gets made, and it gets placed. Amanda has worked alongside 7 Toowoomba and Ripple Media on exactly this.
Included
What a production engagement covers.
Everything below is part of the work, not an upsell after you have signed. If something is not on this list, ask before you assume it is covered.
- Scopingwhat the content is for, before anyone books a camera.
- Crew bookingthe right videographer, photographer or editor for that specific job.
- Schedulingyour staff, your site and the crew, in one plan everybody has.
- Direction on the dayAmanda on site, calling it, not managing by text.
- Talent and locationssorted, briefed and confirmed before the day.
- Editing and deliverycut for where it is actually going to be published.
- Cut-downsone shoot producing a commercial, reels and stills, not one file.
- Media placementfor broadcast work, through the contacts we already have.
What it deliberately is not
- A camera hire. If you just want a videographer's number we will give you one for free.
- Stock footage dressed up as your business. Everything is shot at your site with your people.
- A one-off video with nowhere to go. If there is no plan for it we will say so first.
- The shoot scoped and booked
- Crew on site, day directed
- Edits back and approved
- Files that are yours to keep
Agreed before anything starts, and it does not quietly grow.
How it runs
How a shoot day runs.
-
Two to three weeks out
The scope
What the content is for, where it is going, and how many pieces the day needs to produce to be worth doing.
-
Two weeks out
The crew
Booked to suit the job. A product shoot and a staff story do not need the same person behind the camera.
-
One week out
The run sheet
Every shot, every person, every location, timed. Your staff know exactly when they are needed and for how long.
-
The day
On site
Amanda directing, keeping it to time, and making sure nothing is missed while everyone is still there.
-
The week after
Delivery
Edited, cut down for each platform, and handed over ready to schedule.
The difference between a shoot that pays for itself and one that does not is decided weeks before anyone turns a camera on.
Honest fit
Who this actually suits.
We would rather lose the job than take one we cannot do well. If you are on the right-hand list, say so on the call and we will point you somewhere better.
A good fit if
- You need content but nobody internally can produce it.
- You have booked a videographer before and got files you never used.
- You want a commercial made and placed, not just filmed.
- You have a location, a team or a process that is genuinely worth showing.
Probably not yet if
- You want a single video with no plan for where it goes.
- You cannot free up any staff or site time at all.
- You want it shot next week. Good days are planned, not squeezed.
Questions
The things people actually ask.
Do you shoot it yourselves?
No, and that is deliberate. We book the specialist who suits the job. A great product photographer is not automatically the right person for a staff story or a broadcast commercial, and pretending otherwise is how you get mediocre everything.
Can one day really produce a month of content?
A properly planned one, yes. That is what the run sheet is for. An unplanned day produces one video and a lot of unusable footage, which is exactly the outcome most businesses have already paid for once.
Do you handle getting it on TV?
For broadcast work, yes. The commercial gets made and placed through contacts we already have rather than you cold-approaching a network with a finished file.

What do you need made?
We start with a shoot day: crew booked, the day directed on site, a month of content in the can.
